Edward McNally is a specialist providing clients with risk management, market management, and strategy planning advice. Over the last 16 years he assisted international and domestic clients with risk management assessments, due diligence reviews, strategic marketing assignments, and specific training for bank employees at the senior officer and transaction levels. Recent assignments include advising a Croatian Bank in the establishment of a factoring business, conducting market research on the U.S. Healthcare industry for a German Bank, providing strategic advice on the Connecticut market for a New York area bank, and assisting a New York area bank in the development of a plan for its commercial lending business. Working with a team of Grammer and Co. professionals, Ed analyzed and recommended changes in the business lending area for a bank in Trinidad. He has worked with a New York City based credit union on strategic and marketing issues. Also, he successfully assisted a New York based mortgage company in its search for a new CEO.
Conducting commercial customer satisfaction surveys is one of Ed's specialties. Clients include the U.S. operations of global financial institutions and U.S. banks. The methodology consists of both telephone and in person interviews. Surveys of commercial bank prospective customers are an additional area of specialization.
From 2001 to 2003, along with other Grammer and Co. consultants, he assisted with the restructuring of a $155 million family owned venture capital activity. He has served as the acting Chief Operating Officer of a distressed minerals exploration and alternative energy company. In addition, he worked with a startup digital-satellite television company.
Ed managed the due diligence review of the front and middle offices of a Japanese vehicle finance company for a global manufacturer. He has worked with financial services organizations in Canada, China, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Japan, Trinidad, England and the Middle East. He has been retained as an expert witness on banking and credit related matters.
Ed spent 17 years with National Westminster Bank USA where he was a Senior Vice President and held a number of credit and marketing in the equipment leasing, media finance, and middle market departments.
He is a graduate of Lafayette College and attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business as part of a bank-training program.
